Kandui Surf Report // Mid-May 2012
The waves have been pumping at a couple of Kandui Resort’s favourite waves over the past few weeks.
After a slow start to the month, a sacrifice was made and bleary eyed guests woke to super clean day at Rifles.
Phil Goodrich // Mentawai 2012
Artist and surf travel veteran Phil Goodrich has logged plenty of water time in Indonesia over the past decade.
Most recently he’s been an artist in residence at the newly rebuilt Macaronis Resort.

There’s been plenty of swell and some good days through April, but on the whole the swells seemed to bring the wind with them.

We’ve been going a bit ga-ga over Rifles lately.
April was absolutely cooking at Kandui Resort and this here is another excellent vid from the FTR Films crew.

Big earthquakes and pumping waves have been the news coming from Sumatra in April.
Aura Surf Resort have also discovered two new waves. It’s one of the many perks of pioneering a new area.
